BTC is aware of how complex students' lives are.  To support our students, we are providing multiple and various ways in which to pursue your education and be successful.

​What is a F​ace-to-Face Course?
In a face-to-face course, class time is delivered at the​​ designated campus in a classroom, lab, etc. The course may or may not include web content as enhancement.

What is an Online Course?
In an online course, 100% of the content is delivered online. Proctored testing/assessment may be required. Students need regular access to a computer with a high speed Internet connection. For more information about online and/or hybrid courses attend one of the "Introduction to Blackboard and Learning Online" sessions.  This link​ provides the scheduled sessions for this semester.

What is a Hybrid Course?
A hybrid course is a course in which the content is delivered in a blend of face-to-face and online formats. Between 40% and 60% of the content will be delivered online. Students need regular access to a computer with a high speed Internet connection.

What is an ITV Course?
Courses are offered over the compressed video system in specially equipped classrooms​.

What is a Hybrid/ITV Course?
A hybrid/ITV course is a course offered over the compressed video system in specially equipped classrooms in which the content is delivered in a blend of face-to-face and online. Between 40% and 60% of the content will be delivered online. Students need regular access to a computer with a high speed Internet Connection.

What is a F​lexLab Hybrid Course?

Student attendance times are flexible, but must be done at the specified campus during open lab hours. The non-lab instructional content is delivered online.

What is a MyEdChoice Course?
​No lab is associated with this format. Students can choose from three different ways to attend each class session of the class.

  • in the classroom at a set class time
  • live during class time using video conferencing
  • online at anytime

​What is a FlexLab Course?
This course is taught completely in the lab. Student attendance times are flexible, but must be done at the specified campus during open lab hours.
